Doc-To-Help 2009: Mature, Innovative, and Complete
Gustavo Eydelsteyn, Co-founder
Seventeen years ago, Doc-To Help emerged as the first Help authoring tool in the market and laid the foundation for Help authoring tools. Today, as an award-winning industry leader Doc-To-Help has set the standard. These years have allowed Doc-To-Help to grow into a powerhouse tool with hundreds of thousands of lines of code behind it, and time has yielded millions of hours of testing and QA. The result is a mature, robust, and stable Help authoring tool. |
As new technologies surface, Doc-To-Help offers releases with enhanced Help authoring solutions. Just around the corner, this September, ComponentOne is planning to release Doc-To-Help 2009. This release will be packed with new features including an XML based editor, drag-and-drop linking, and an embedded Help tool.
In addition to being mature, robust, and technologically advanced, Doc-To-Help is also a complete solution. While other companies force you to buy multiple tools to get your job done, Doc-To-Help bundles all its features into one self-contained product. There is no doubt that with over 200,000 users and over 20 versions, Doc-To-Help is a complete and powerful product. Check out Doc-To-Help 2009, you will not be disappointed.

| Did You Know About Doc-To-Help’s Drag-and-drop Related Topic Links? |
|
Related topics are an invaluable element for online Help files. They give the reader a
very convenient way to navigate to related information. Doc-To-Help gives you a very convenient
way to manage these links for each topic: the Related Topics Editor.
|
 |
|
For each topic, you can see a list of automatically generated related topics as well as those
created manually. You can use this interface to drag topics to the list, to add more links,
delete links, and disable the links altogether. This is just one example of the visual management
features included in Doc-To-Help 2008. If you haven't tried it out, open your copy or
download a trial today. |
