WebGrid for ASP.NET is fully compatible with Microsoft's DataGrid control, so you can upgrade existing ASP.NET applications easily and be productive with WebGrid for ASP.NET immediately.
Custom Grid Formatting
Intuitive formatting lets you customize your grids to get the look and functionally you want. Automatically create columns, display borders and gridlines, allow editing, sort data, and much more.
Customizable Navigation

Multi-level Column Headers

Automatic Column and Row Re-sizing
By setting a single property, WebGrid for ASP.NET will automatically size column width and row height when the grid is scrolled to adjust to fit the longest text in a column. You can also enable or disable automatic sizing for specific columns and rows.
Collapsible/Expandable Groups
Configure your grid in outline mode to enable the end-user to collapse and expand the groups by clicking on the group headers. You can also determine whether groups will be initially collapsed or expanded. The grid will display expanded/collapsed icons next to each group header row. You can use the default icons or select your own images to show collapsed nodes on the grid.
