Important News Regarding Studio for SharePoint
Studio for SharePoint has been discontinued as of March 15, 2013
While support for our innovative Web Parts has been strong, we have focused our efforts on providing tools for Visual Studio LightSwitch . Since the next LightSwitch update (included in Visual Studio 2012 Update 2) will provide a platform to create SharePoint 2013 applications, we believe this is a great way to help SharePoint developers deliver the applications their users need.
Please note the following:
- Studio for SharePoint still works in SharePoint 2010.
- We will continue to provide support for Studio for SharePoint through March 15, 2014.
- The Silverlight tools provided in
Studio for Silverlight can
still be used to create your own Web Parts.
