Handle multiple windows in your Silverlight application with ComponentOne DockControl™ for Silverlight. Similar to the docking system in Microsoft Visual Studio, The C1DockControl delivers dockable, floating, and tabbed windows. You can also auto-hide sections and easily style the control.

  • Dock Floating Tabs
    Dock indicators appear when you drag tabs over dock zones signaling to dock. By default, the C1DockControl uses a docking diamond UI as seen in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Customize the Docking Appearance
    You can customize the inner and outer docking picker parts appearance for a different look. For example, provide a more natural docking style as seen in Microsoft Expression Blend.
  • Floating Windows
    The Silverlight version of the C1DockControl uses the C1Window control to allow a window to float above your application. Floating windows are contained within the Silverlight plugin.
  • Pin Tabs
    Allow users to pin any individual tab like in Visual Studio. Pinned tabs always stay in view.
  • Sliding (Auto Hide)
    See more of your UI at one time with sliding using the pushpin. When sliding, tabs slide in and out mimicking the auto hide behavior seen in Visual Studio. This allows users to minimize not-in-use tabs along the edges of the control.
  • Rich Programmatic API
    For complete flexibility and to restrict behavior, the docking state of any dockable window can be controlled programmatically through the rich programmatic API.
  • Easily Change Colors with ClearStyle
    DockControl supports ComponentOne ClearStyle™ technology which allows you to easily change control brushes without having to override templates. By just setting a few brush properties in Visual Studio you can quickly style each part of the docking controls.
  • Silverlight Toolkit Themes Support
    Add style to your UI with built-in support for the most popular Microsoft Silverlight Toolkit themes, including ExpressionDark, ExpressionLight, WhistlerBlue, RainerOrange, ShinyBlue, BureauBlack and Cosmopolitan.
