It saves a ton of time.
It did just what we needed it to do very quickly and easily.
Client Services Manager
A deal breaker for me, Doc-To-Help has command line builds. It’s got a build scheduler. That was an absolute. That has to be there to move at the speed of Agile.
Advanced Solutions International
We found that Doc-To-Help enabled us to build the individual help systems for any product faster and more efficiently than any other product we looked at. We looked at everything, too.
...it's incredibly easy to use and far more flexible than I would ever have expected.
We now only have to update one set of source files to distribute an update to all manuals.

There are tools for generating and managing help files – and then there’s ComponentOne’s Doc-To-Help. I would argue that it may well be the premier product on the planet for developing, managing and generating help files in a myriad of forms!
Doc-To-Help helps my team to standardize user manuals, reference API and functional manuals about our products. With a real small effort we are able to add, update and publish our manuals in many different formats.

I've just started using Doc-To-Help, but so far it has been easier than I would have imagined. I was impressed that I got something that worked right the first time. My company used NetHelp for our online application and it works great.
Senior Technical Writer

I really like the Doc-To-Help ribbon in Word. I found that the extras and the features there are just what a technical writer needs. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy using this product so much.
The conditional help, or the conditional text is very helpful, so that we can single source, because we have outputs to the various audiences.
I love Doc-To-Help. I came into this position with one week of six-year-old training and was on my own. I started using the tool immediately. I can do anything I want with Doc-To-Help, and it’s really easy.
Director of User Assistance
ComponentOne Doc-To-Help® Training
As a self-taught user with several years’ experience working with Doc-To-Help, I found the training class to be of great value. The instructor’s experience in the industry is evident and he managed to convey a lot of information in a little time, with a great sense of enthusiasm and humor. I also appreciate his willingness to listen to questions and provide thorough answers, and the training booklet provided for the session will continue to serve as a helpful reference tool.
Software Technology, Inc.
Since the instructor is actively involved in the Help authoring industry, he has acquired extensive knowledge and experience. It was a great experience!
It opened up a world of possibilities for our printed manuals and online Help systems.
